Arts 2 People are pleased to announce that Jennifer Gordon has accepted the Board’s nomination for the role of Executive Director, succeeding Kitty Love who has been appointed as Executive Director of the AAAC. Kitty remains with A2P as a Board member.

Jen Gordon has served as Board Treasurer for the past two years and is Director of the Lexington Avenue Arts and Fun Festival (LAAFF), continuing Arts 2 People’s long tradition of supporting and celebrating the unique spirit of Asheville.

Jen represents advocacy for the arts not only at a community grassroots level but also in city government as a member of the Public Art and Cultural Commission for the City of Asheville and with her involvement in the Downtown Master Plan Arts and Culture Committee.

Supporting Arts 2 People’s mission with experience as an exhibiting artist, a strong background in Arts Administration and a passionate commitment to Public Art and Community Arts Outreach, Jennifer will continue to develop the organization’s singular position as a champion for community arts programming in Asheville.
